The Balaguer Bataller Abogados team has travelled to Albany, capital of the State of New York, to follow a five-day Criminal Litigation Programme taught at the New York Bar Association. The aim is for lawyers, university professors, judges, prosecutors and students to improve their skills before the courts of justice.
While the first day of the course focused on jury selection, the second day dealt with the opening arguments to be presented in the courtroom. The entire second session was held in actual courtrooms at Court House, where the team was able to visit the magnificent library.
